Limo/classic car alternatives

P2BE, on December 10, 2015 at 10:30 AM Posted in Planning 0 11

Looking to cut costs where possible and was thinking this could be a way because we're not having a bridal party nor doing a grand exit so really would just need a car to get me and my parents from home to the ceremony and then me and my FH from ceremony to reception. Did any of you do anything different in this department? Any suggestions to cut costs apart from driving ourselves?

Grrr. It's bad enough when my message appears twice -- but 3 times!?!?!

If you don't want to use your own vehicles, you can rent a car.

My brother rented a white Lincoln Town Car to drive Mom & me to venue and DH & me from venue.

You can rent a cheaper rental car or hire transportation but only for a small car and for a few hours!

Do any of your close friends or family own a nice car.? If they do perhaps one of them could drive you and your parents and then you and FH. We aren't going to rent a car. FBIL has just bought a nice car so he is going to pick up me and my dad and bring us to the ceremony.

We're planning to Uber. Probably splurge for the XL or uber black but either way, it'll be pretty cheap.

I'm riding with my sister down to the wedding and home in our car when it's all over and done with. Definitely no need for a limo for the 10min drive to the venue or 20min drive home.

Renting a White Lincoln Town Car is a great idea! I bet it will look so classy in the photos.
