Limo

So I'm planning on getting an 8 passenger limo to take me and the girls to the church but I kinda want me and my fh to be the only ones going to the reception in it... is that weird? Do I need to have the bridal party in there with me or tell them to meet us there for pictures?

I think logistically, if you provide transportation to the church for the bridesmaids, you kind of have to provide some kind of transportation from it, you know? We did the "just me and my husband" limo from the ceremony to reception, but the bridesmaids carpooled from salon to ceremony venue, so they had their transportation figured out.

I would say that if you wanted to do just you and fh from ceremony to reception, budget for a second "one way" form of transportation (whether it be a second limo or an uber, or something else) for your bridesmaids to get from church to venue.

They all have their husbands/boyfriends driving also and that's why I was wondering what to do

I think as long as you're sure transportation is covered for the party on the way to the reception that's totally fine.
We did something similar with switching cars around so I could ride with h on the way to the ceremony in our car alone.

I think if they all have another ride arrange (i.e. their husbands/boyfriends), and you communicate this to all of them prior, then it'll be okay!

Yea I agree with PP. it should be ok for you to use it as a grand entrance if you make sure everyone has a ride with you. I personally have my maid of honor follow me to help me with my dress and stuff.

I think its fine as long as they know that's what you're planning and have alternate transportation plans.
