Lifting the veil

When the officiate says you may kiss the bride?

I think it’s once you are standing /facing groom..

Depends on what you and your officiant decide. It has been done as soon as the father walks the bride down the aisle BUT more traditionally, it is done when the officiant says "You may kiss the bride."

Sometimes the father (or whoever is giving the bride away) lifts the veil at the end of the aisle. Sometimes the groom lifts the veil before the first kiss.

Awww I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well. I hope you get better very soon!!! And hopefully your veil is done on time. I would be stressed as well. Did they give you a date that it should be done?
