License and certificate of marriage

Help!
I recently got married in Santa Cruz, CA at the clerks office. On my marriage license, I didn’t include that my father is a Jr on the license…. Does forgetting the suffix mean his name is technically incorrect? Is there a way I can get this fixed?? TIA

You can call the clerk's office to see if they want to correct it. I do not think there is an issue since the parents' names as is would be sufficient to identify you uniquely, especially in light of your birth certificate.
