I would like to have a friend who does photography part-time in TN shoot my wedding in the Hudson Valley, NY. My venue is requiring her to obtain liability insurance. Can anyone clue me in to how much this costs, where to get it, and if she can obtain coverage for a single day event? Thanks!

Unfortunately, I don't know much about this, but unless she can find insurance through a wedding insurance plan, I don't think she'll find anything *just* for a one-day event.

Hi Susanna! I did a google search for "wedding photographer liability insurance" and got a ton of results from companies who offer coverage!
A one-day policy should hopefully be around $100 (but full year coverage is only $200-$300 so that's a better bargain). Check out sites like WedSafe and eventhelper.com!
