Hi ladies. Like most brides to be, I'm planning on working towards a goal weight for my big day. It isn't until June of 2021, so I have time. What helped you in seeing the most success? I've done keto and the weight came right back plus some. I'm looking to lose only around 40 lbs at MOST. Honestly,...
Hi ladies. Like most brides to be, I'm planning on working towards a goal weight for my big day. It isn't until June of 2021, so I have time. What helped you in seeing the most success? I've done keto and the weight came right back plus some. I'm looking to lose only around 40 lbs at MOST. Honestly, even 20 would be fine, but it's those 20 that are the hardest?

Does anyone have a good cleanse to recommend?? TIA

My wedding is June 2021 too! 😁 I've lost a lot of weight doing Chloe Ting's at home workouts on YouTube. She also makes schedules to follow and I bought an elliptical and now do HIIT elliptical workouts every other day.

As for diet, I'm in a big defecit. I fast for 16 hours, eat 1 cup egg whites with 1 cup of spinach as my first meal, snack on a half cup of raspberries & strawberries with a protein shake, 4 oz ground turkey with bell pepper, 170 g broccoli, & 170 g of sweet potatoes for lunch, dinner is 2 cups of romaine lettuce and 1 cup of any other green veggies, 6oz of chicken breast, and a homemade balsamic dressing (2 tbls balsamic vinegar, 1 tbls olive oil, 1 tbls Dijon mustard, squeeze of lemon juice, and then I snack on raspberries, strawberries and another protein shake at around 9pm. I lost 20lbs in 3 weeks doing this diet before. Restarted this week. I also drink 2 tbls of apple cider vinegar with 8oz of water 20 minutes before eating my first meal and I have another probiotic at night and cut out any other liquid calories. Hope this helps!

What worked for me was a 1200 calorie a day diet, daily walking/running, and weighing in every morning.

I recommend HIIT exercises - high intensity interval training. 15 to 20 minutes per day 4 days a week. I'm not a professional, but I've struggled with my weight my entire life and have done this with a personal trainer (until the quarantine started). Exercise is really only 20% of the equation, though. Portion sizes are important and, as previous posters have said, you need to watch the starches closely. I did not do well with KETO but I suspect it's more because of my lack of education on it and I didn't look into a dietary coach. I used to weigh 338 lbs. I'm currently at 234. I would love to lose another 70 lbs but I've really slacked off lately, so have to get my head back in the game. When I was doing well on my plan, I was eating low fat cottage cheese and fruit or steel cut oatmeal with fruit for breakfast, half a cup of brown rice and 4 to 8 oz of meat with half a cup of veggies for lunch and something similar for dinner. I avoided carbs completely on my non workout days.

    Good luck!!tenor.gif

Arbonne’s 30 days to healthy living is a great option! I’ve done is twice and it keeps the weight off!
