Lets talk Floralllllll

Shann, on October 9, 2021 at 12:05 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 3 8

Hi ladies!

I am planning to make my own floral for my arch decor and bouquet. Can anyone recommend a Artificial flower company they liked best?

Am I the only one who would rather make them myself? haha

Also If this helps, Getting married in FL on Fort de soto so looking for Beachy Florida colors!

If you're interested in wood flowers, check out Sola flowers! You can order them already dyed to whatever color you want, or you can order them plain and dye them yourself. They're kinda fun to work with!

I made my own arch and bought artificial flowers and greenery from Michael’s (I loved their artificial hydrangeas) and Ling’s Moments (foam flowers). While I did white flowers for my ceremony, both Michael’s and Ling’s Moments have a variety of colors.

You're not alone, I'm super excited to do my own florals! I second Ling's Moments, I'm really pleased with the quality and plan on using them for my arch, decor, and bouquet. As far as colors, I was watching Ling's site for a while before ordering a box (I was indecisive on what look I wanted) and it kind of seems like they lean into the current season, so they may have more beachy vibes closer to summer because right now they have a lot of red going on. Also, if it fits your budget Afloral is also pretty nice, just more expensive. I got a couple accents from them for my bouquet, I remember they had some cool tropical looking flowers and leaves. Mine aren't beachy like you're looking for but just for quality purposes, below are some of what I have.

Yay! I'm so glad they worked for you. Looking for wedding stuff online has had me so stressed because they're items I've never looked into buying before. Other online reviews have been saving my sanity so I'm glad I got to help someone a little too😊
