Let's See Your Invitations!

These were my originals. I sweated every detail of these. My wedding had to be postponed and I went cheaper with the second go around.

Scrolls are an Awesome idea! I want to see more of your theme

We got ours a few days ago and mailed them yesterday. :-) So exciting. I am happy with how they turned out.

I spent a loooooot of time deciding on invitations and didn't really know what route to take, I was very hung up on the picture or no picture question and if they have to go with our colors or not and the wording and just everything. But now I am happy with what we chose. We both like a more simple style. The wedding theme is elegant garden party and our colors are green, ivory and gold. My FH is Arab, so he came up with the idea to use the Arabesque pattern because it's from his culture. I love that. Then we found this invition template from magnetstreet (just changed the colors), it is called "Damask Dream" - we first met in Damascus, so decided this is the perfect invitation for us. :-)

A friend of mine from high school is a local artist, so she's done all my stationary. We just got our sample from the print shop last week! I wish you could really see the detail of the linen paper! I figured if I have to cut down my guest list and make some restrictions, folks can at least have some fancy paper.

They are hand made on hand made paper. I love them so much

They are so gorgeous. I have received a lot of compliments from everyone so far. I got super lucky that my mothers best friend owns a custom design boutique and did those for me. I could never imagine someone taking the time to do each one by hand and that makes them so much more special to me.
