I want to see pics of everyone's dresses! I happened to find mine as the very first dress I tried on and it was on a sample sale. I couldn't be any more in love with it. I want to hear all about how you found your perfect dress!

I actually was originally thinking off shoulder, but the more i committed to having a fall wedding i became open to the idea of sleeves - our ceremony is outside in late october in NY - it gets a little chillier around that time) i knew i wanted something off shoulder or with a bust line like this (vneck or sweetheart) as its more flattering on me usually - i searched for a while for different dresses online before visiting a shop and when i saw this with the long sleeves i just fell in love with it and started looking to see if i can find a place that had it which NO ONE did! but i found a lady 1 1/2 hours away from me who brought it in for me during a trunk show and I fully intended to pick it if i liked the way it looked on me.
This is my dress. It's the first one I tried on at my second appointment. It was in the running between three others.. Which was a surprise because I wasn't expecting to like any. I was originally told they couldn't get it in time..but the owner was there and able to get it in.
Your dress is so pretty! I found mine at the very first boutique. The lady who helped me asked our budget, maintained that budget, and together we pulled discontinued dresses off of a few racks. Normally, this boutique keeps visits to approximately 60 minutes, but I knew my dress was hanging in that room. So, the lady who helped me (Sandy) was not only fun, but willing to let me continue trying on dresses. After almost two hours, my FMIL asked if I could try on one more. Sandy said yes. My FMIL said, “I would like for her to try this one on.” Okay, great! Sandy helps me into my dress and we overhear something about a dream. As Sandy was about to fasten my dress, she stops, looks at me with tears welling up in my eyes, and she asks me if I’m crying. Tears started to well up in her eyes and we walked out. I was crying—which made everyone else cry. My FMIL proceeded to tell me that she had a dream of me walking down the aisle and I was in that dress. She knew that dress hanging on the rack was the one and even though I went to one more boutique, I came right back to dress that made me cry, and it made me cry again! I knew deep down in my heart. Love this dress!
As of now it's a size too small on me so I can't show the back, but the bridal shop I got it from is adding a corset in the back to help me fit into it, which I'm so excited about! It will complete the dress! I'm obsessed with the lace (especially the train) and beading!
