I had seen a dress online that I loved, I didn't want to wear white, ivory, etc. I wanted a color. So I found this amazing lady in England, she no longer is doing dresses.. But she made mine. It fits like a glove. I measured myself and then went and got professionally measured. Anyway, I got my dress back in 2017 for our 2018 wedding, which got postponed because I had to have my second cervical spinal fusion, and then postponed in 2019 due to sinus surgery. I am so hoping we can have our wedding on October 24 of this year! I REALLY don't want to postpone at all. But here is my dress.

I LOVE the dress you picked!! Is that the Made With Love Stevie gown? I had huge heart eyes for that dress while I was looking! I ended up with a different but very similar dress

I knew I wanted to be a Hayley Paige bride so I pretty much only tried on her dresses exclusively, but it was also a trunk show and a 12.5% discount so that was a great incentive too. I said yes to dress #3! It’s the Nash gown 😍

I love the idea of this post, and it is so fun to see all the dresses. I couldn’t take pics at the first bridal salon so I only have pics from the Hayley Paige trunk show I went to (and found the one!)


This is one of the dresses at David’s Bridal that I tried on. Couldn’t take a pic in it but it was almost the one. I only said no because they only had blush in store and I wanted to see the ivory version. Told them I’d think about it.Now on to the Hayley Paige dresses!
This one (Remmington) my entourage said looked like stick bubble gum wrappers on the bodice 😅 loved the flowy skirt though
Second non-winner (Delta) I’m not really one for form fitted dresses but I wanted to try on different options. I loved the sparkle design pattern on this dress. Reminded me a bit of gatsby.
Third non-winner - the Declyn dress. This one I remember seeing on SYTD show so I HAD to try it on. Unfortunately it wasn’t as good on me as I hoped. My family all said it was fun but looked like my brother’s comforter 😅 Hayley stopped by to help jazz it up a bit with a belt idea.Lastly, the Winner (Pepper) - this one my brother (man of honor) immediately whispered “this is the one” quietly when the curtain was pulled back for the reveal. And was right! I am switching out the straps for thicker beaded ones (similar to what the consultant is holding on my shoulder) and a thin satin ribbon belt to define the waist more. It is the top from the Delta dress but a more fun and full skirt that I just love. It’s so light and airy and I couldn’t stop smiling.
I will be picking up this beauty from alterations this Saturday so I can’t wait to see it fitted and with my new straps. 🥳
