After about an hour of obsessing over velvet ring boxes in so many shapes and sizes, i want to see everyone's ring boxes! One of my favorite photographer detail shots is of the rings in their pretty boxes, so are you buying a pretty box, or keeping it in the box it came in? My Kay Jewelers Box...

    I love it! I want one soooo bad, but like you said they are way overpriced and i am having such a hard time justifying it.. Yours is beautiful!

    Melinda described it in her BAM as where you pass the rings in their box to all of the guests before putting them on each other. It is supposed to bring good luck and support or something like that. Its a really sweet idea!

    We're getting married at the beach, so I bought two of these for our ring bearers. Key was the ribbon, so we can tie the rings in. LOL Then we can use them after the wedding on our nightstands. It's not actual shell, but some sort of really hard polymer.

    Etsy is an online marketplace of hundreds or thousands of different sellers. It is very possible to have a store you like on there make something custom for you. All you need to do is message the seller to ask. Just search for stores that make ring boxes and find the store you like then send a message to the seller.
