Let me see your rehearsal dinner cakes/desserts!

I didn't even realize this was a thing...

I'm doing a grooms cake and the theme will be Oakland A's. I'm having personalized bobbleheads made for the cake topper.

We had our RD at a nice restaurant and our desserts were mini cheesecakes, brownies, eclairs and cream puffs

Is this a thing? So missed this if so. I guess my guests won't be having any desserts for the rehearsal. Oh well, there's always the wedding cake!

We are having the grooms cake for the rehearsal dinner. It's a chocolate Reese's cake but I think I'm going to surprise FH by some home incorporating the Simpsons into it,

No I'm totally confused now. I felt like a cute small cake was appropriate, but now I'm not sure! I just don't like the options at the restaurant.

The restaurant provided dessert.

I did not know the bride planned the rehearsal dinner, I thought that was the grooms (or his family's) responsibility.
