I’m a size 12 and somehow became a size 18/20 in wedding dress land. It’s like the wedding dress industry hasn’t followed size deflation like the rest of the fashion industry. So don’t be disappointed or surprised if your wedding dress size is different from your regular size, it’s just a number anyway.

I might have chosen my dress too soon (one afternoon of shopping and tried on a few dresses at a boutique and then two at David’s bridal) but bought because it was on sale. I’ve got 17 months left so I might go dress shopping once more. If I do stick with this I’ll add a cathedral veil. I just fell in love with it because I can actually move in it and it has pockets. The sample dress was 4 sizes too big so it should look a little different after alterations.
