Let down your FAKE hair!

Ashley, on August 22, 2016 at 1:59 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10

I am looking to do an up-do or half-up half down do for my wedding but I need more hair! I have shoulder length hair that is pretty thin. I am stuck trying to figure out which brand to get. I was told about the Euronext brand from Sally Beauty supply but I have heard it doesn't really thicken your hair. It may only lengthen it. I have also looked into the luxy hair but I know you can only buy it online and it has really mixed reviews. Have any of you found a great brand that didn't break the bank and was something you could dye in in case it didn't match your hair. I am looking for clip-ins. Thanks!

I love my Bellami clip ins. I have the Bambina 20" and had my hairstylist layer them to match my hair cut. There are some 10% coupons floating around. They are 100% Remy human hair.

I am not sure they are the cheapest but the quality is great.

Very few clip ins recommend that you dye them due to the treatments they apply. That is why I like Bellami, they have so many color choices.

I use tape in extensions! Sounds weird, but they are great for super fine hair! They stay in for like 6-8 weeks depending on how quickly your hair grows. My salon charged me $150 for the extension, and then another $150 to put in. The good thing is, they are able to be used multiple times, so you don't have to pay for a new pack of hair every single time. They are a little more expensive, but IMO so worth it. I have tried all types of hair extensions, and these things are the greatest. I tried the clip in ones, and they were just a pain for me. I wish I could remember the brand name, but if you call a reputable salon I am sure they could give you the name of the company.

ETA: Tape in ones are added with a glue-ish like substance, and are extremely durable. You just can't use shampoo with sulfate in it, so you basically have to use Pureology products. They may come lose quicker if you don;t use the right conditioning products. They come out really easy, and cause no breakage to your hair whatsoever.

Following I am having the same issue right now. My stylist (my cousin) wants to do glue in extensions and im really not comfortable with all that. I would much prefer clipins that I can take out easily if they start to irritate me.

Following for some suggestions. I'm doing an up-do and my hairdresser suggested I get the clip in ones at Sally Beauty Supply to make it fuller. She said they're in a maroon package. After googling it looks like she might be talking about Euronext.

I swear by Foxy Locks or Bellami. I have both brands and love them both, but I feel like Foxy Locks looks more natural on me personally. Euronext are not as good of quality. Both brands come in different lengths and weights. I have also dyed my Foxy locks extensions numerous times (even bleached one set and added purple and pink to the ends) and the quality has held up! I have thin hair and for some reason the Bellami's are almost too thick for my hair and you can tell it isn't my hair. I love the Foxy Locks because they blend better with my natural thin hair!

    First Photo: Foxy Locks

Second Photo: Bellami (They are just thicker and don't look as natural with my thin hair but I do love them!

    Third Photo: Sew ins!

I have very thin hair and opted for extensions but was worried about where to get them. I actually spoke with the girl doing my hair and had her recommend a set that cost me like $100 for clip ins at some bizzare beauty store I'd never heard of (not helpful in a brand name I'm sorry but I'm thinking maybe you can also ask whoever is doing your hair for what they might recommend as they would probably be very well versed in quality extensions at the best price being a hairdresser and all Smiley smile) I attached a pic of how my hair looked after my trial, please excuse the weird facial expression, feh!

Thank you thank you thank you! This really has given me something to think about. I am looking between the Foxy Locks, Bellami and Euronext. I just down think that I could do the glue in or tape in ones. I have a feeling I am going to want to take them out as soon as possible. You guys look absolutely beautiful in your photos and you definitely can't tell that they are extensions. I have never been one to wear them before and am not a huge girly girl to play with things like this. Thanks for all of the input!

I purchased indique pure wavy hair (30 inches). I have natural thick curly hair and wanted a protective style for our weddingmoon. I originally wanted it down, but unfortunately the heat index the day of was 104°. I love indique. Here's a pic on my wedding day and tonight after I washed and conditions it. I just let my hair air dry.
