I need help I was planning for a wedding in 2022 and I had to move it up to this may ( Family issues). How in the world can I do this. My maid of honor is in no way to help she to busy. Plus I'm having my wedding in las Vegas and we are under the age 21 so please if anyone can help please. I surreally barley have 500 dollars saved. I'm probably gonna use my moms dress which highly doubt it will fit, we have our rings, other then that I have no idea what I'm gonna do.....

Are you getting married in Vegas because that's where you're from? If not, and you're under 21, I'd probably skip Vegas. Are you opposed to a courthouse ceremony and lunch reception afterwards? There are some beautiful courthouses in the country (I know Santa Barbara for example) where it won't feel so "court" like. That would cost you only the price of a marriage license, and you could easily plan a brunch buffet for under $500.

Other than a courthouse ceremony, you could hire an officiant to have it at a free venue like a public park for example. Or if you're a member of a church, you could have it there.

Keep your guest list very low and host a cake & punch reception at a non meal time (sometime between 2-5), that way you won't have to pay for an entire meal for your guests. You can get a small cake for cutting and then a sheet cake to serve to guests from a local grocery store. If your mom's dress won't fit, try Amazon or off the rack at a bridal shop.

Him and I are both from Vegas its where the Majority of our family is at. I was thinking a courthouse wedding but I have like about 50 people coming and I'm unsure if that would be ok having that many people. I think the actually number is like 40 but its all family.

With those circumstances, I would consider if Vegas has any small but pretty chapel's that you could get for cheap. Try on the dress asap and then shop for your alterations- you may find that getting a white evening dress will cost less than to get it fitted to you. Most of all, don't stress! We're here to help.

Vegas makes much more sense in that case! I've definitely heard of people doing large courthouse ceremonies, it's still your wedding - you should do as you please! I'm not super familiar with Vegas but you're fortunate to have nice weather - many public parks allow weddings ($0 for most) - you would still have to find someone to officiate, set up tables & chairs, etc. but this could be a good alternative too.

They have some really cute and nice dresses on amazon for under $100. I would also check thrift stores as well. Get your cake from a grocery store or use cupcakes. I'd shoot for a time like 10 to 1 or 1:00 to 4 and do light appetizers. Good Luck!

Do a quick search for sample sales on dresses, as well as look online.

Focus on your officiant, and how you're going to feed your guests. Those are the most important things.

    Breathe.

    You can do this!

Start with finding a free or very inexpensive venue. That will give you a sense of how many guests you can invite. Consider doing a cake and punch reception for very few guests. Look at vintage shops for attire and consider minimal or homemade decor. This is totally doable, you can get married for the cost of a license, so think of how many guests you need there and go from there.

You could have a quirky wedding at the Denny's on Freemont St or the Taco Bell on the strip. Of course there are tons of wedding chapels with packages to suit your guest count and budget.

With Prom season almost upon us, check out the stores in the mall for pretty gowns in white.

    You can do this !
