Length of tablecloths

If they are the right size, floor-length tablecloths shouldn't drag on the floor. They'll end just off the floor making it unlikely people will step on them -- I've never seen that. Since most banquet tables are usually very utilitarian with metal legs, I think floor-length are much more elegant and provide a nicer look overall. But, at the end of the day, they're only tablecloths, so go with whatever works best for you.

If you are using typical folding tables go to the floor. Tables and tablecloths come in standard sizes, stepping on the cloths us highly unlikely. If the tables have stationary legs, like a home or restaurant, the choice is yours as to what you prefer.

We are using round tables with an ivory table cloth and a black square cover.

The picture is white, not ivory. The table cloth is a poly-blend not satin. But this is the overall look.

I prefer the look of floor length. If properly sized, they shouldn't have a puddle...just skim the floor.

Hi Erica! It really depends on what kind of tables you are having! I have always like the look of floor length table cloths because it covers up the legs of the table which sometimes aren't the prettiest! If they are the right size, they shouldn't drag on the floor!
