So i just had a post about my signature drinks, but while roaming on pinterest almost all the drinks that caught my eyes were lemonade based (it is a summer wedding after all!) What about the idea of having a DIY lemonade bar, with lemonade in bid dispensers and then a ton of fix-ins people could...

What about the idea of having a DIY lemonade bar, with lemonade in bid dispensers and then a ton of fix-ins people could all ( blueberries, raspberrys, mint, mint syrup, vodka?)

Crazy idea?

We're doing a lemonade and iced tea bar for my brother's wedding, for the ”cocktail hour”. It'll have big dispensers of lemonade and tea, some different fruit flavored syrups, fresh herbs, sugar, fresh fruit, etc. The wedding is August '14, so it'll be a nice refreshing way for guests to cool off. Also, since they're paying for everything themselves it'll save on the price of alcohol since the bar won't be open until after dinner.

I love this idea! The lemonade and tea sounds wonderful, especially with the mix ins. I've considered the lemonade as well-- my colors are gray and yellow, so mine was more for coordination.

Wonder if there is a way to incorporate crushed ice and make a lemonade slushy? So refreshing in the summertime! Great idea by the way!

Freeze the fruit so it can double as ice cubes for the drinks.

Or freeze a berry into each ice cube.

Love the idea! You should also have the lemonade be the colors of your wedding, I think that would be cool if you could do it. Lemonade sounds so good right now, imagine how great that will be in July!
