Layering veils?

Has anyone ever done two veils at once? I am in love with cathedral length, but my consultant stuck a fingertip length over it and it was amazing! Should I ask them to sew them to the same clip? Or just use the two combs? Its for the ceremony only, and neither are going over my face.. My Aunt is making me a blusher for the reception/2nd dress.

I was just curious if anyone else wore 2 veils at once, and how did it work out?

You can buy a two tier cathedral that has a fingertip on it. My mom made my veil, it's a waltzing veil with a second blusher that is actually finger tip length. It's easy to do, your aunt could probably do both.

Don't buy it from the store. It's over-priced.

I'm wearing two - my cathedral and then a shorter, two tier veil over top. I'm wearing them on separate clips so I can remove the cathedral veil after pictures and still wear the short one into the reception.

I forgot to mention, the blusher is being made from my moms dress. Because she was a size 4. No way this 18 is gonna fit into that!

I might give my aunt the pics and see if she can make one like it.
