Latin Mother/Son Dance

I don't have suggestions but that would be a very awkward song for them to dance to! I'm having the same problem looking for songs for my dad and I.

I haven't had an opportunity to bring it up again. FMIL was visiting this weekend and left this morning after he left for work.

Usually, he tells me I just don't understand their "latinicity" but I think this falls out of those bounds!

Yeah @o&s i did not want to confuse it since she wants a latin one? Same thing. Op if you google "canciones para boda madre a hijo" you get a lot of different options and even the lyrics.

My dad and I danced to Willy Chirino's "Los Campeones de la Salsa," and it was a lot of fun. We wanted an upbeat, fun song, and that one fit the bill.

ETA: The song also has a part that says "Como yo nadie te quiere, corazón" and my dad loved that because he said a parent's love is like no other.

I went through this. There is some Zytego song about a man and a woman getting married and their first dance and their first night together....I can't remember the name but my MIL wanted that to be the Mother/Son dance. It was SOOOO not appropriate, but she claimed it was her Cajun heritage.

They ended up having a Twist contest a la Pulp Fiction to Chuck Berry's You Can Never Tell. I so feel you on this one!
