Late Night Snack Table

Future Mrs M, on January 22, 2018 at 9:49 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 12

So we are doing a late night snack table, but I am hoping to get some feedback about it.

We are planning to serve donuts, cookies, chocolate covered pretzels and oreos along with choc/white milk option and coffee.

Anything else?

ETA:

We have a separate serving for a soft pretzels and sliders! I guess this is a more of a sugar snack? They will also have take home bags for them!

I prefer food like pizza, sliders, pretzels, grilled cheese, etc. for a late night snack rather than a lot of sugar.

Agreed! Especially if you’re serving dessert already (cake), savory late night snacks are way better than sweet ones.

What you have here sounds delicious, but I asked a similar question last week and a number of people said that late night dessert tables tend to go untouched. It definitely depends on your crowd, you may have lots of sweet teeth that prefer a donut and only you can really determine that.

Could you give guests the option to take these items to go with bags or boxes in case they don't want them right then?

Well, we will have the "to go" bags if people want to take it with them. and we are not getting 160 pieces of everything.. so there wont be a ton left over, I hope.

Just read your update, I love this for favors! I would devour the pretzels at the reception and then probably eat the donuts back in my hotel room 😁
