Some good deep dish pizza would be my favorite after some drinks! But now after clicking Del's link I want a corn dog!

We had a dessert bar, even though we served a dessert course. The bar included our cake (half plated, half on boxes to take home - none left), mini pastries, petit fours and cookies, and chocolate covered strawberries. Guests were able to pick from it during the last 2 hours of our reception.

My husband has been plagued with acid reflux for years. There's no way he could eat something spicy or fried at 10:00 PM or later. And other than the strawberries, we didn't have to worry about keeping anything warmed or chilled.

We did a variety of donut holes and Philly soft pretzels (probs not the best for a Chicago wedding). Donut holes were super fun and lots of people took them for the next day. We packed up the extras at the end of the night and froze them. They are so good heated up in the air fryer or oven! They make for fun snacks with coffee after a night out!
