Late Night Cocktail Hour?

Raven, on July 21, 2020 at 10:32 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 7
Hey guys. I’m doing a ceremony on the beach, a dinner for like 60 people at a restaurant after and then rent the terrace/ fire pit area at the hotel after for a dessert/ drink time with family and friends. I’m having trouble coming up with the wording for it on my wedding invites. What would you call that? I don’t really want to call it a cocktail hour but can’t think of anything else. I’ve attached a pic of my information card going in the invites so you can see how I have it structured already. Late Night Cocktail Hour? 1

I would say after party. We had an after party at a bar where guests could buy snacks and drinks if they wanted.

Maybe, "after dinner drinks and more".

I would call it an after party. The cocktail hour is usually between the ceremony and reception.

After Party. Or Nightcap if you want something different.

It sounds like an after party. So that is what I would call it.

I agree with "after party" and if this is your actual invitation draft, I'd change the wording for the dinner portion to: "seven o'clock in the evening" (anything from 6 pm on is evening). Good luck!
