Late engagement photos

I honestly would say to do it, I been engaged for about two years as well and we recently did ours and it’s an amazing experience. It’s memories you get to keep even if you didn’t have engagement photos from the beginning. Ours came included with our wedding photographer package it was absolutely worth it and from there you can get a sense of how the wedding pics would look as well.

We have been engaged for 8 years, together for 10. The only reason we are doing engagement photos is because it’s included in our photographers wedding package.

Agreeing with everyone above. Plus if you’re using the same person for your wedding day as you are engagement photos, it’s a good chance to work with them so your day runs more smoothly

My fiancé and I have been engaged for just over two years and we’re doing engagement photos. We plan on decorating the house with them and using them at the wedding. I don’t think it matters how close it is to when you got engaged, but instead capturing how happy and excited you are at the engagement stage

If you want them do it! We had a shorter engagement (8 months) but have been together for 7 years. The photographer we hired was expecting their first child and asked if we would be okay waiting for the engagement session. So we just had them done exactly 6 weeks before our wedding.

You can do it anytime during an engagement! Definitely no rules about it having to be done right away.

Yes! We have been engaged for 3 years and we are doing our engagement photos this fall. I don’t think it is ever too late to really do them or that there is a time limit that has passed.

Of course! You are still engaged! My BOYFRIEND and i already know the date of the wedding, have the invites and some other stuff for our wedding and he hasnt even proposed yet! Haha we are backwards due to an amazing opportunity falling into our laps, but hes still going to propose in a romantic and surprising as possible way 😄 my ring is on its way to being made and shipped as i type this. Any day now 😁 you should enjoy all the exciting parts of being engaged that there is!

If you want to, go for it! They don't have to be taken soon after your engagement date!

We actually took our engagement pictures about 3 months before our wedding date because we wanted to practice posing and get used to working with our wedding photographer!

Hi there! If you feel like taking photos, take them! There are no rules. My fiancé and i got engaged last June (2017) and our wedding is April 2019. We will be taking engagement photos sometime this summer and we will be using those photos for our "Save the Dates"
