Late August/Early September Brides

End of August bride here!!! I have the big things booked, venue, DJ, photographer, florist and videographer. I bought my dress, we are doing a cake tasting this weekend. So I will have that booked this weekend. I have bought a couple of the little things like, my girl's jewelry, my jewelry, and I plan to buy my shoes within the next couple of weeks. I just recently bought a couple of items to start making the menus, and programs. Oh and I bought the invitations. LOL I usually use the wedding wire "to do" check list. It has helped me stay on track!

I've got my venue, photographer/ videographer /, DJ, cake, dress, bridesmaid dresses, officiant, save the dates, I still need to get my maids gifts and get the guys get measured for their tuxs. But other than that i dont have much else to do!!

I am stressing about the fact that we don't have wedding bands or invitations yet. We have an apt. With an invitation lady Thursday, hopefully we'll choose and order then (I hope!) and we went to look at wedding bands once so far, but haven't decided on any yet! This worries me.

Just an FYI - WeddingWire has a checklist tool where you can insert your date and the tasks backfill (wht dates) accordingly.

I'm September 6th, too! I think I have most of the big things ticked off....venue (includes catering/beverage), photographer, band, rehearsal dinner venue....I've picked out invitations but probably won't order them for another month or two. My mom and grandma are basically figuring out all of the flowers for me and we're buying them wholesale. I hired a hair lady to come do all of the bridal party and mothers' hair. The girls have to buy their dresses from DP but that's up to them.

Still need to figure out what the groomsmen are wearing and what I'm going to do for a MUA (hire someone, have my cousin do it....I just am sort of clueless when it comes to makeup.) Then the little things like favors. Tasting in 10 days. I also still need to figure out how to accessorize my dress. I feel like right now I'm in sort of a lull, but all the little things are going to start popping up as the months pass.

8.16.14 for me. And I have about everything done. Just little décor stuff to finish. Dresses need altered (just waiting for them to come in). I went by the checklist on here, just worked ahead.

I like the WW checklist too. I'm a bit ahead in some places in behind in others, but it's helpful.

We've got all the big stuff covered- venue, catering, dress, suit, band, officiant, photographer, etc. I've been very productive the past few weeks- started the wine (making our own), booked the honeymoon, did our registry, got the invitations, picked bridesmaid dresses yesterday, etc. We're finishing the registry tonight and I'm meeting with our officiant in two weeks. I need to work on cake, flowers, and ceremony musicians.

Hi fellow date twins! Other than the tuxes for the guys and our wedding bands, we just have little things left to do! The WW checklist is great to use! I am ready for the day to be here!

Ugh you ladies who have everything done are stressing me out! Lol. I am using the WW checklist, but we are just falling behind on some things like invitations and wedding bands. I wish we had those bought already. Appointments for that stuff this week and next though.

I am pretty set on all the big things but I don't have a dress and it is freaking me out!!!

Hello fellow 9/6/2014 brides!!! I have ALL my major vendors done and booked, honeymoon is planned and wedding bands are bought! both Bridal shower dates are set and venues booked.

Still need to order invitations, do a registry, meet with florist for centerpieces, and ordering little things here and there. Trying my hardest to stay on top of it! Cuz I know it will be here SOON!

September 6th as well!!! I have all the big ticket items taken care of. Venue, DJ, flowers, etc. We have to meet with caterer this month to pick menu. I still have to get undergarments, shoes, jewelry. Also have to figure out attendants gifts. Hmmm...I'm all over the place but I think I'm in good shape. Oh, I just bought my invitations yesterday! I was in a lull for a month or so but I feel like I'm back up & running. My wedding obsession waxes & wanes.

Woohoo date twins!!!!!! I have all the big things paid for and checked off my list. I only need a few things such as BM shoes picked out, his wedding band and find a good red wine for the tables. Thankfully I have had a good amount of help and checked off 90% of my things fairly early on!

Ugh I still need to send out my save the dates.

We haven't ordered wedding bands yet, probably in the next month or so.

According to my WW dashboard I'm on track but I don't feel like it.

I'm way behind!! But I'm feeling ok about it. Got the venue, the dress and the groom!!! Lol got some other things but still need some important stuff. I just need to make decisions!!

I have everything booked just paying it all off now! Use the checklist... It really helps a lot.

I'm mid August (16th). I have most of the big things...venue, photographer, videographer, florist, officiant, my dress/shoes/jewelry/wedding band, bridesmaids and flower girl dresses, part of BMs gift, hotel rooms blocked, hair/makeup, transportation. Have our favor idea, just have to get all of the stuff! And I have to book our photobooth still. We have to get tuxes and FH's band. Tasting is at the end of March, invitations to be ordered in April, cake tasting probably in May. Still feel like I have a lot to do, though!

I just had to go check the checklist to see if I should be freaking out or not. I'm doing okay, but have a lot to do this month.

We have our venue, my dress is ordered, FH has a suit (we may decide to get him another one), and we have a photographer and my hair/make up lady is set. We are signed up for the class at church but have to finish the other paperwork & turn it in to get our officiant.

We also need to reserve the chairs, figure out my flowers (the only flowers), centerpieces and get the RB & FG clothes. I also need to figure out my headpiece, shoes and necklace.

We've been focusing more on related items, like trying to get FH's current house ready to be on the market and getting FH healthy from the strep throat he got this last week

Pretty much the only things I have left to do is send invites, bridesmaids dresses, suit for FH, get the license and do the flowers.

Other than that I'm done and don't really have anything to do until August.

All the big stuff is done. Except florist. All the little stuff is going to stress me out. Trying to pace it out but end up feeling overwhelmed.
