Last Song

Mine was "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton. I didn't have everyone clear out, I'm actually really glad the small amount of people that were still there were dancing with us, and it made that last moment really special, and my husband dipped me at the end and everyone cheered!

I just have always loved that song and thought it was the perfect end to a magical day!

I know it's cliche but we did "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey. It was a favorite song of one of our friends who has passed, and also had other significance to our relationship.

It was cool that the DJ brought out a mic and passed it around the dance floor for people to sing along. Some people really got into it!

We are leaning towards Friends in Low Places by Garth Brooks!

We're thinking of doing Time of Your Life by Green Day. When I went to camp as a kid we always did a group huddle to this song on the last day to say goodbye so it's always been a nostalgic "last song" for me. Used it at my Bat Mitzvah for the last song too. But someone above mentioned Closing Time and since FH and I have definitely belted out to that in the car together, I'm leaning towards that now. FH doesn't care at all haha

Mine was supposed to be "Forever, Always" by Judah and the Lion but everybody left about 20-30 minutes before we did so we couldn't play it! Lol, we were not upset about it though!

So I have no idea what we'll do for ours (ditto on being super indecisive), definitely something upbeat that makes people want to keep partying because we have an after party planned. But we went to a wedding in the spring and they played Bohemian Rhapsody for the last song, and it was SO FUN. It came on and I was like this is weird, and then everyone (including me) was on the dance floor belting it out and having such a good time. I never would have thought of it.
