Last minute DJ

Well the ish has hit the fan. My FH asked about a DJ today when I discussed this with him months ago. Long story short I had to fire a DJ in January due to lack of communication on his part. Anyway I hired a musician for live music, a soloist and the reception music will be played from my phone. What's frustrating to me is that I discussed this with him months ago and now he wants to ask about it. Keep in mind he's been hands off the entire time. Now I am jumping through hoops to try and find one. Should I be as pissed as I am or just try and find one?

The question that continues to bug me is why wait until 5 days before and ask instead of discuss it with me months ago? I had to leave and get fresh air I was so pissed. I came back and I still feel like everything that I've done isn't enough. I have freaky musicians coming all the way from Louisiana. I'm seriously like wow. SMH

Why not be pissed and have him find the DJ? if this was discussed months ago and he was fine with it and he has now decided to change is mind, then he should be able to find the DJ. That's just my opinion. 5 days out - he needs to get cracking and hopefully he finds someone

It is sucky that he's bringing it up now. Sorry about that OP.
We weren't doing a DJ. We were just planning to play music from my phone. But after attempting to sit down and come up with 100 songs and then string them together in a way that keeps people on their feet was impossible. I also took the advice from WW about reading the crowd and playing the right songs. We found one Thursday and met him and signed the contract today.

Anything FH doesn't like That I'm doing, I make him give me a solution, or do it himself. He is not a child, and I refuse to be made more anxious over anything.

Thanks ladies. I have been planning since last July and I'm at a lost for words. The playlists that I came up with caters to the young and more seasoned crowd. I have everything backed up on my computer. I've mentioned the musicians from Louisiana. I'm starting to think he's looking for something to say. I mean seriously, who does that? We have a small budget so I've made mostly everything myself and worked within that budget. My family can't afford to help out which I didn't expect them to so I've been paying since last July in order to keep us out of debt and still have a beautiful wedding. How insensitive? SMH
