Last Minute! DIY Seating Chart Canvas!

ariana, on May 31, 2017 at 5:51 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 8

Im looking for the easiest and cheapest way to get a seating chart so my guest can find the tables they were assigned to. Ive notice etsy.com has one that you download but it cost money. Any ideas of websites that would have something that i could use as a guide. Also i need a place to print it. Would i be able to do something like this on word and blow it up at staples onto a big paper. I want it to look nice and simple. IDEAS IDEAS IDEAS!!!!

You could have a poster sized paper printed at most places like staples or office max. I'd be careful with quality sometimes when you blow it up big things get distorted. When I've done poster printing (as a teacher) I usually use PowerPoint, not sure why (we did this is school too). May be your best bet to see.

Why not simply number tables and have guests find there number and place card at the door?

@jennifer i will have numbers on each table but i want to do a big chart that has all the table numbers plus guest names on it. instead of making individual seating cards for every person.

There are tons of them on Etsy. You can check around at shops near your house too. A bridal shape near me makes the large posters on cardboard. I'm going to call a couple glass shops and see if I can get ours etched in a mirror. I love that look

Etsy costs money because you are paying someone who likely runs their small art business out of their house Smiley smile I think there's an app called Tabletop or something that you could look into. I don't know if it has a print option but I've heard good things!

I used a mirror, which I hired from our decor vendor. I designed the cards myself, and just had it printed out. I used canva to create them.

I purchased the boards from Hobby Lobby and then just printed off the table assignments. Super easy.
