Last Dating Anniversary -- What did y'all do?

We never remembered the actual date, but we always went on a little weekend trip around the time that we think it was.

Our is in September, we will probably go to a nice dinner and celebrate the fact that our new journey will be starting soon after.

This didn't even occur to me until I read your post. Ours will be a little under a year before we get married as well. I have no idea, we don't usually do much as it is. I guess spend it the way you normally do?

You could go to a nice dinner or something if you don't usually do that.

We don't make a big deal about dating anniversaries. I think we forgot and then said, "Hey happy anniversary a few weeks ago!" and laughed.

We don't celebrate dating anniversaries. I can't even remember what we did last year. This year we will be getting married at that time so I guess we will start having to do something...

We won't be able to. Ours was last July, and we got engaged in November and will be married in June, so we won't celebrate a dating anniversary while engaged. But the last one was fun! We just went out to our favorite restaurant in Raleigh. He actually took me there the night he proposed.

We always do something for anniversary- we usually plan a vacation. Two years ago, we went to Belize. Last year, we went to Austin/ San Antonio and got engaged! Since we have wedding expenses this year, we're just going out to dinner at the restaurant we had our first date at. We'll pick backup with the getaway tradition on our wedding anniversary! I'm so looking forward to our honeymoon- I'm missing my usual May trip!

We always exchanged gifts and take turns taking each other out on a nice date. For the last one I took him to a nice steak dinner (his favorite), and he took me to my favorite brunch spot on the actual anniversary day. We will always remember it but decided not to celebrate it anymore once we get married. In previous years we've done couples massages, laser tag, private candle lit dinners, and some other stuff I can't remember right now.

Our last dating anniversary will be a week before our wedding. We are probably going to eat a healthy dinner at home because we will be poor and fitting into fancy clothes in 7 days, writing out escort cards or something like that, and drinking wine because we will need it!

We went to the homecoming game for Michigan then did a long weekend on that side of the state just sight seeing.

We have always done a fancy dinner and a mini-weekend getaway but last year we stayed home in our pjs, had Chinese take-out and binge watched House of Cards lol it was the best anniversary ever.

We went on a weekend trip! It was also our 5 year anniversary, so we wanted to do something special

My anniversary just passed. I made him a box & once a week from our last anniversary until this past one, I wrote him a letter.

& ever year I get him a preserved, engraved rose thats trimmed in 24K gold.

My present to him on our anniversary before our wedding will be a letter with one white rose since I get him a red one every year.

I don't think we ever celebrated a dating anniversary.

Ours was about a month before our wedding so we actually had to go to our venue to finalize some details. We were too poor to eat there though haha.

Since this last one was our 10 year, it was a milestone and we did something extra special. We went on a three day vacation to a little town up the coast. We specifically went somewhere that was dog friendly so we could bring our pup too! Normally we just go out to dinner or do something active though!

We celebrated the first (and last before marriage) anniversary of our meeting/first date this past January by going to the same restaurant for dinner, then going to FedEx to pick up our wedding favors after.

I historically haven't celebrated dating anniversaries (figured I'd just wait till I had a wedding anniversary), but it was novel.

We've been dating so long we gave up on any real celebration/gift-giving. We might go out to dinner or something.
