Hi! I’m looking for lanterns to have for our centerpieces. I have looked at hobby lobby and michaels but I’m not finding a simple black lantern for a reasonable price. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Maybe OfferUp or LetGo. Brides seem to sell a lot of their wedding stuff on there.

Do you have an AC Moore in your area? They're pretty affordable in the first place, but now they're going out of business and have sales going on. I also recommend checking Facebook Marketplace for other brides selling their decor.

I got outdoor lanterns at family dollar for $5 each. They’re not as pretty but I think they turned out fine for the price.

I don't think we have them in So Cal, but I've seen brides post about finding them at a place called Five Below (I think it's like dollar tree, but $5 or less). Given your timeline, I'd probably put them on your watch list and see if you can find them during an end-of-summer clearance or next winter after Christmas. That's one of the many benefits of a long engagement, plenty of "clearance" sales to take advantage of.

I got mine at Michael's for $6 on after Christmas clearance. I mismatched the styles and will just spray paint them all gold
