Lantern rentals

It might be cheaper to buy. They're in home decor stores here for like $250NT which is less than one dollar in US money. Things are cheaper here, but not by so much that renting would be worthwhile.

I was looking to rent them but it would just be cheaper to buy. I plan to buy it from letgo app, Craigslist, or Facebook market place then resell them after the wedding

Usually cheaper to buy. Check Facebook for a local wedding resale page. I sold mine on a page like that after our wedding.

I also suggest buying unless you happen to have some super cheap event rental company which even then I would be wary of the quality. Also seconding 5 below there stuff is nice quality for the price and went break the bank while keeping the look up to par.

Five Below to buy

I've heard of five below but there aren't any around me and so far, close but not quite what i wanted. Thank you everyone!! I'll keep a look out on five below website and ask my florist.

I got the gold ones at 5Below, too! They are nice and came in $3/each cheaper to buy vs rent in my area.

Maybe cheaper to buy them. They have them at Ikea for $7.99 and 5 and below for $5. It's worth taking a look.

My personal opinion- lanterns are popular from what I've been seeing, if you don't mind the extra effort, you could probably purchase lanterns for a pretty reasonable price, and just resell them afterward on a Facebook group/LetGo, or a couple different avenues. This is what I plan to do

I'm looking to use a lot of lanterns in the décor but I believe we will just be buying them as time goes by. I want wooden framed ones instead of the metal and I figured buying them over the course of a year and a half we''ll come up with a lot of different styles and sizes which I think will be a lot more whimsically and less uniform. My moral is basically I say buy buy buy! Or try wedding resale websites I can't think of the one I've browsed before but it was brides reselling left over décor from their weddings.
