Ok, so one day I was on here and someone had posted about eloping, another suggested looking into Sandals resorts.. I've been doing that personally now and I have to tell you, it costs as much as having the wedding, soooo we're now considering a SMALL backyard ceremony for family only, and then 6 days in Jamaica at one of the Sandals.. I'm so flippin' excited, but will I regret this one day when I look back at a backyard luau wedding with a bbq? (but 6 gorgeous days with turquoise seas and butler service) *sigh* Anyone else ever been to a Sandals? Any advice about them??

The other thing is, if we decided to do the Jamaica thing.. would it be appropriate to pack jersey light weight dresses for most of my clothing along with a swimsuit? We want the least amount of hassle as possible!

So we decided to do a smaller wedding and we're going to a resort called Couples Swept Away in Negril Jamaica (thanks to everyone on here recommending it) it's all inclusive and has tours and sports and all kinds of activities.. (even a glass bottom boat tour which excites me to no end!!)

Thank you all so much for the opinions! I appreciate each and every one!

Good choice going with Negril. You will love the beach. Also, I would highly recommend either taking a boat or a taxi to Rick's Cafe. You can do some cliff diving into the emerald ocean or watch the professionals climb up the tree and swan dive from 100'. It is a must do when in Negril!
