Lack of friends

Kayla, on May 25, 2020 at 3:13 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 3
I have only lived with my fiance in his state for about a year and a half, my whole family lives in Oregon. I had a best friend and we went separate ways once I got together with my current relationship and since I've lived here I really haven't made any friends because all I do is work and come home. My fiance doesn't have many friends here also so its really just been him and I except for his little bit of family here too. We're getting married next year and I have no bridesmaid and the only groomsmen he has is his best friend...should I ask his sister to be my bridesmaid? Just make it a 1 on 1? I will have 3 flower girls and the wedding will be super small. Anyone else in the same boat?

We moved across the country two years ago so I’m low on friends. I have a few long distance ones who I still keep in touch with. I think it’s fine to ask his sister or not have anyone.

You can ask her but you don't have to. You can just have him walk down behind the groom.

Its a new age time I've seen plenty of people who don't have bridal parties.

You will be ok. But maybe you should venture out. Meet some new friends at work. It helps to have some outsiders or different prospective.

You can ask her, but you don't need one! I've never had a huge group of friends and picking my bridesmaids was super stressful. It helped to remind myself it's something I'm choosing to do, not something I have to do.
