Lace Trim Veil or Plain Veil?

Ivette&Trevor, on July 10, 2016 at 3:47 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 17

I am having a hard time choosing the type of veil to wear. My dress is trumpet style all lace with 3/4 sleeves with V-neck and same V style on the back. I am not sure if a lace trim veil would be too much since the dress is already all lace? Any suggestions?

I'm a visual person and would need to see the dress.

I think maybe a plain veil.. Might be too much lace with the lace veil

Are you able to try on both types of veils with your dress to see how they look? I thought I wanted a lace trimmed veil but it didn't end up looking very good with my dress.

I agree and think a plain veil would be nice so the dress can shine.

Have you seen Juliet Cap veils and veils that have scattered lace? My dress is also all over lace, and I'm torn between lace edge or Juliet Cap with some lace on the top. If the lace is similar, it doesn't take away too much.

This is a photo of the scattered lace.

No problem! There's another bride here who has an all over lace dress and made her own veil a lace edged veil. I think it can work with the right combo if that's what you want! ETA: That Juliet Cap veil is from Etsy.

I would love to see it with a lace trim veil. Fingertip or cathedral length.

I am the bride with the solid lace dress that made her own veil. I think with the right lace it would absolutely beautiful. If you go lace I think a soft Chantilly lace would go with your dress very well.

@Almost_MLF i love your veil! It definitely works perfect with you dress and it doesn't overdue the lace

My dress is similar, I'm using a ribbon trimmed veil with a little beading. I considered a lace one but liked this one better.
