Lace or no lace?

Jonnib23, on October 15, 2020 at 8:46 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6
I’m getting married in this archway in a public park in April:

Lace or no lace? 1
Now, I know what shape and style of dress I want without a doubt. This is from a YouTube tutorial, but I’m having some slight adjustments made (like a less deep neckline and some off shoulder tulle sleeves). Lace or no lace? 2
Now, I accidentally stumbled on a Cocomelody dress that has a similar silhouette BUT it has a lace overlay. I found it on Zola.Lace or no lace? 3
Should I have a similar overlay placed on my gown? Or should I leave it completely plain? The reception venue is currently unknown, so just the ceremony location is being taken into consideration.

It's completely up to you. Do what makes you feel more comfortable.

If you love the lace and can't stop thinking about it, I'd say go for it and get an overlay!

I never thought I would want lace on my wedding dress, but I got one that where the entire overlay is lace and never regretted it. If you keep thinking about it, then get it. Lace is a great way to add details without sparkle/glam, if that's what you're going for.

Personally I love lace, but think about fabric choice for sure. The cocomelody dress is tulle so the lace is soft and feminine. Lace on a more satin dress it may give a very 90s romcom dress vibe!
