Lace bolero

Kate, on December 29, 2017 at 9:59 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
So my wedding dress is a spaghetti strap dress and I desperately want to add lace sleeves to it! I found an old lace dress at an estate sale for free so I took it home to show my alterations lady to hopefully add the lace to sleeves! But when I talked to my alterations lady, she said that she does not think the laces match. So I found some ideas of having a bolero! I was hoping someone had some tips for me. Do I put the bolero under the dress top and have my alterations lady sew it together for me or do I put it over the top of my dress or what? Let me know!! Smiley smile

It’s beautiful how it is. A bolero would be too much

I think it looks great as is. But you could put it on top or have her sew it as a top to the dress. This is just on top of the romper.

I think bdhln.com has some lace over type things. Maybe your seamstress can make one?

Tulip Bridal has some great boleros and jackets. I would choose one with lace trim, not an allover lace pattern, otherwise, you will cover up the lace on your dress.
