Lab created vs. natural diamond

Jocelyn, on February 14, 2018 at 7:54 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 1
Hello everyone please don’t be brutal with me.
I was recently engaged to my amazing fiancé. We had previously talked about engagement rings when we saw his friends fiancé had such a gorgeous ring on her finger. Turns out she had bought a Etsy zhedora lab created diamond white gold. Fiancé and I talked about rings for us and I had specifically mentioned to him that I would rather have a natural diamond not a lab created just always was something I had my heart set on. The ring he gave me is beautiful lab created diamond it really is beautiful but I can’t help to be jealous or maybe cal it envious when I hear other gals talk about their jewelers and the fact that they can just say they have natural diamonds unlike trying to explain to people what a lab created diamond is. Would have also liked to have a natural diamond just because it’s a better investment for the future. Guess I just always had my heart set on a natural diamond.
Please don’t be brutal with me just needed somewhere to speak my honest thoughts. Maybe someone out there can relate with me?

Hey Jocelyn, sorry to hear you'd not happy with your ring. So you and your partner talked about the ring you wanted and you told him you wanted a natural diamond, but he got you a lab-created diamond anyway? Did he explain why he went with that when he knew it was important to you to have a natural diamond? Maybe he had a reason for choosing what he did. Have you thought about getting a wedding band with natural diamonds? Do you like your engagement ring otherwise?
