Kwr: no earrings?

I wouldn't worry about it! If you're not an earring person, don't get them pierced just because someone else would. You want to be comfortable! I truly doubt anyone (aside from your sister) will even notice.

I've had my ears pierced twice and let them close up. I finally realized I am just not an earring person. I won't be wearing earrings for my wedding even though I will most likely have a up do.

I wouldn't pierce your ears specifically for the wedding if you know for a fact you won't wear earrings again.

If you are not an earring person, and you don't want to wear earring in your wedding day it's up to you, there's no need to worry about it.

There's always clip on earrings if you do wish to have the look of it just for the day!

Do whatever makes you happy! You could always wear clip on earrings. I guess that would be the middle ground on this issue

Mine aren't pierced and I don't intend to pierce them. I can't imagine someone saying, "she looked so happy, her dress was gorgeous, but man...she didn't have earrings!" (Edit: hit send too soon)

Are you wearing your hair down? If so, your hair would most likely cover your earrings anyways. I wouldn't sweat it.

And to answer your question: no, I wouldn't do it for one day if I hated them every other day of the year

And heck no to clip ons. That's far worse than just getting them pierced. Those fuckers hurt.

I didn't get my ears pierced until I was in late 20 so I sympathize. However, I did like the way my earrings look in my wedding pictures. They added extra spark near my face.

I wouldn't pierce them just for the wedding though.

How about trying some clip on? They have really beautiful ones now!

I'm not an earring person either. Had zero plans to wear them for my wedding. The day before, my daddy bought me a set of pearls that had a necklace, bracelet, and earrings. I wanted to wear the earrings because it meant so much. So the day of, I just stuck those fuckers right through my ears. In my pictures, it looks weird to see myself with earrings & I really should have just not worn the damn things. You won't look "underdone". Don't pierce your ears for one day if you really don't want to wear earrings in the first place.

I have had my ears pierced FOUR times in an attempt to actually care, but I just don't. (The first time I got it was the first time we realized I was allergic to nickle).

I haven't been able to put earrings in my ears for about 9 years now, but I remember every time I did it felt WEIRD. Not used to the weight, the jangle, it's so not worth it for a day. I'd be like a dog chasing it's tail trying to figure out what that jangle in my ear is.

I wouldn't risk infection and keloids (small risk, but still there) for one day. I went to a wedding last week and I don't remember what jewelry the bride was wearing.

@Melissa lol you are funny. It's up to you. Wearing earrings on your wedding will look beautiful but if you are not comfortable, then don't wear them. Regardless, you still going to look beautiful so it's about your comfort. I can't be without earrings . I love them, especially the over the top chandelier ones! They do get heavy but I like them, so it's how you feel. If you do decide to get some earrings, would love to see them!

It's really up to you. There's a difference between not liking and not wanting. How much do you really care to have sparkly ears on your day and in your pictures?

I like to think I'm a jewelry person, but in realty I always forget to put on whatever piece I was thinking about wearing. I got my ears done at Claire's when I was like 16 and then redone at 20. I got my tragus and cartilage pierced at a legit shop and bought screw on white gold (because I'm allergic to nickel too) studs that I can wear on my lobes all the time. Swimming, showering, camping, I don't have to think about it and I like having something on. Also, they were only 40 bucks, so if some how I were to lose one, no biggie.

I had the same issue. I let my ear piercings close in the 6th grade. My mom is insistent on me wearing earrings for my wedding day.

I bought a pair of clip ons from aliexpress. They were only $1.74 and they are actually good quality! I didnt want to spend alot on something I will only wear one day. And if they annoy me and I end up taking them off its not that big of a deal cause i spent so little on them.
