Knot Tying with Christain Script?

Kristen, on April 30, 2019 at 5:04 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 5
I'm having trouble finding a Christain script. I wanted to include knot tying because my ancestry and my fiance's but I also want to keep the ceremony under Christian direction.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Not sure if I’m clear… Are you referring to the unity ceremony of braiding of 3 chords? Or something else?

You can look up Christian wedding scripts on Google and piece them together for whatever you're needing. If you're looking for something for the unity ceremony, that's different than the overall wedding script.

I would talk with your officiant. We are doing a hand fasting ceremony. She gave us 2 options, 1 is with 6 colored cords, each representing something being brought to the union. The other is with intentions as in "will you make FH angry? Yes. Is that your intent? No." And so on through a whole bunch. We chose to do the colored one. It's not necessarily Christian perse, but what's cool is you can tweak it to what you want. Or leave it and have the rest of your ceremony be Christian driven. The knot tying is only one portion. You can still have Christian readings, prayers, songs, and vows if you want!

Hi Kristen! Did you find an officiant and set a ceremony plan that'll include all the elements you want to bring together? How is it coming along?
