Kissing Ball Centerpieces

Catera, on June 18, 2014 at 11:53 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 16

I would like to get your opinion. I made these using carnation flowers found at Dollar tree, diamond from hobby lobby and navy flowers from Micheals. These will be place on every other reception table. My wedding colors are navy, silver and white accent.

What was the cost of the carnations at dollar tree? Was $1 each or $1 for a bundle?

I am going to try it. I originally was going to buy already made missing balls from Amazon I didn't know I could actually make them. I think they turned out great!

This may be a dumb question but how do you get the ball to stay in the vase? How do you keep it from falling off

At dollar tree for one stem you get 7 flower heads( you might come out cheaper ordering them online, you can get 252 flower for 25 on efavormart.com) I' used 8 inch syrofoam ball and cut the inside of the ball to match the effel tower so that it can sit on top. I plan on buying sticky tacky or something to keep it sturdy.

Mrs to be I plan on doing more centerpieces and I can take pics while I make them if you like and provided each step with picture. I tried looking online myself and couldn't find anything beneficial so I used my creativity

I'm not a huge fan of those kissing ball centerpieces. I think the ones you made look great, but overall I don't like the look of centerpieces like that.
