So FS and I were driving around earlier and we passed this place that I absolutely fell in love with. So I made him drive up and find out what it is. ( we were about 45 minutes from home) When I got home tonight I looked it up online, and its owned by the school system up there, and I cant find anywhere online about them possibly doing weddings there, but I dont understand how anything this beautiful wouldnt be used for it. FS told me to call monday and find out because I cant find an actual website for them, but Im kinda bummed because I really got my hopes up...

A lot of venues do not do weddings. Weddings tend to cost more (to the venue) with insurance costs, clean up, etc. So,many will not do weddings.

These people, http://nicolphoto.com/blog/wedding-alliance-ohio/ got married in front of it but had their reception somewhere else.. that's as much as I've got so far. A few people have gotten engagement pictures done there, so if all else fails that's an option too.

Here is a listing of other Castles in Ohio that maybe rent..if you want a castle setting..I also could not find any info that your castle rent out.

In order to get married at the Glamorgan Castle, You have to get a 1 million dollar liability insurance policy for the day of the wedding and you are not allowed to have tents nor any open flames, all weddings are outdoors, they do not allow any weddings inside. Everything must go when the wedding is over. Nothing is to be left behind! Hope I helped anyone that was interested in getting married there.
