Kind of sad that I don't get to wear my dress again

But very happy to be married!

I love my dress... I refused to show it to anyone so I never posted it here, showed it to friends or anything. I wanted it to be a surprise for everyone. It was so hard to find too (who knew finding a lace dress without beading and sequins would be so hard!)

Anyway, here it is...

Maybe I'll have to play dress up one day ;-)

That is a gorgeous dress and it looks good the way it is, i don't like the beading and sequins on lace either.

Thanks! I wanted to include the black and white so you could see more detail. I was so lucky to find this dress. I actually got it at a sample sale (I had to drive 4 hours to get it!)

Your dress is pretty. I know what you mean- I wore mine this weekend watching Dance Moms before I packed it up to be sent out for cleaning. It was pathetic but i love it!

Jamie, that is a great idea. Maybe I'll do the same since I haven't sent it out for cleaning yet! Although I'm not sure hubby will be able to tie the corset back... hmm.

My dress is still hanging in our closet (not cleaned or anything). I need to get on that, lol! My married friends and I have been talking about having a wedding dress party. Any reason to put my dress on again is good enough for me!

I got mine preserved for now -- I'm really hoping that somebody wears it again someday. Maybe I'll have a daughter or niece want it for their wedding. Otherwise, I might just put it on again on our 10th/20th/50th anniversary, something like that.
