I have it on my wedding website that due to the nature of our venue we can only have adults at the ceremony and reception ( there's a pond with no fencing and it's a working peach farm soooo). I am expecting push-back from my family (my mother has already started!) but other than my five year old sister, there will be NO CHILDREN allowed at my wedding. I will literally have them turned away if they show up with them. I don't like children, I don't want my wedding turning into Daddy Daycare and having screaming during my vows. Don't like it? Don't come. Less money I have to pay at the reception!

Do you want kids there is the question? If not then make it adults only.

If you want kids then allow them, and if not then don't. Simple as that.

I was ok with kids at mine because i knew a lot of people with them. however for my ceremony i was really really bent on not having kids there but i know that may not work so i just hired the church nanny to babysit during the ceremony

This is a very individual decision. We opted for adults only but it should be 100% between you and your FH.

I am having kids because I haven't seen all my family in a long time and I want them to be there...and I have a lot of nieces and nephews. On the other hand I hate when kids ruin moments like...GETTING THE BOUQUET Smiley ups .... so I am asking that my DJ to make an announcement about only people 18 and older on the dance floor when we are doing those kind of things.

I'm having no kids at my wedding besides my Fiance's Niece and Two Nephews which will be in the wedding ceremony. I have way too many nieces and nephews and too many little ones in my family in general, also we're on a budget and that would just be too many extra people at a cost. Plus a lot of the adults would probably enjoy an evening away from the kiddos too.

I invited family children but not the children of my friends or my parents friends. We probably had 10-15 kids there between 1 and 12 and they were all fine.

The only two children at the wedding will be my grand-niece, who is the flower girl, and my fiance's grandson, who is the ring bearer. Nobody else we're inviting has kids, so it shouldn't be a problem.
