Kids in the wedding

Jaimie, on November 21, 2019 at 3:20 PM Posted in Planning 0 4
Hi! We’re having a wedding with two brides and are mixing genders both in our bridal party and with the kids. We’ve decided that bridal party is an acceptable term for the adults (with my maid of honor and her man of honor) but I’m having trouble coming up with something creative for the kids. Our ring bearer is a girl, but that’s a totally gender neutral term, so we’ll keep it. The problem is the other kids, 4 of them, two boys and two girls, will be throwing petals and another two boys will be carrying signs. Do we call the boys with the signs pages and the mixed group throwing the flowers petal patrol, or can someone come up with something more creative to include all of them?

I agree with flower children. Unless you’re doing programs, you don’t have to give them titles.

They really only need titles if you're listing your bridal party on a program or sign. That being said, petal patrol is cute but I personally like MrsD's suggestion of flower children. It's the hippy in me.
