Kids Favors

LaLa, on July 17, 2019 at 3:08 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5

So we will be having 4 kids at our reception. All girls and ages are 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, & 9 years old.

I am doing favors for guests, and I'm just putting them at each place setting. My mom wants me to do favors so we're doing favors. Most of my family has done favors that have had weddings so we're sticking with it.

For the kids should I provide a gift? Such as a little coloring book with crayons (are they too young?) or maybe a little stuffed animal? Or nothing? lol. The favors for the adults is hot sauce and jelly so I doubt they want that lol.

What do you think?

I packed a little cardboard box with a wedding coloring book, crayons, and a quiet type of toy. Like a little doll or toy car. The dollar store was my best friend for a while lol.

You don't have to, but the parents appreciated it.

I got these coloring books for super cheap:

The 9 year old might be a little old for the same toys as the others but the coloring book idea is cool

I plan on making a little wedding coloring book for the kids and giving a little pack of colors, maybe a little goodie baggie too..

Hey LaLa! I think it's a good idea to give them something.

As you can imagine, they may not be pleased when they find that all of the adults have gotten a gift but they haven't gotten anything! I think something as simple as a coloring book and some crayons would be great because then they can use them while sitting at the table and waiting for the meal. 😊

We're only having 4 kids at our wedding too and we're packing them all "goodie bags" full of activities and snacks.
