Please tell me I am not the only one struggling to keep track of quotes! I need some insights on how to manage this better. My email is a disaster... Literally. I can't remember who replied to requests, what my thoughts were... It's really stressing me out. I don't know how to fix the mess I have...

Please tell me I am not the only one struggling to keep track of quotes! I need some insights on how to manage this better. My email is a disaster... Literally. I can't remember who replied to requests, what my thoughts were... It's really stressing me out. I don't know how to fix the mess I have going on or how to manage it better going forward...

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Like everyone else has responded; I also created a separate email address. Instead of buying one of those wedding notebook/workbook, I created my own with the categories that I needed. I print whatever I am considering and delete the one's I'm not interested in.

I made a table in word — kept track of vendor, what they offered, and cost of different packages. I also put a section if I scheduled a meeting with them to kept track of meetings and then notes after the meeting

Ooo girl, i had the same problem until I started using these email templates . these templates are awesome because you send the vendors one, long, comprehensive email - and when they respond, they send you one, long, comprehensive email back. so pretty much everything you need is in a single email. MUCH easier to keep things organized with this.

there are templates for five different types of vendors, but you can basically tweak the template to get quotes from literally AND vendor. best of luck!

^^ This! Just make a new tab for each type of vendor! Or even a word doc with the basic information to compare notes on!

I Smiley heart google drive! i tried the hard copy binder thing - but i literally never used it ... we set up a "digital" wedding planning binder on google drive, plus used a few other apps to keep everything digital (and searchable and shareable and portable ... so many benefits to keeping things digital!) - here's an article about how to set up a digital wedding binder .

U do everything through email and fo not delete until it is unneeded. If you must, make a folder or mark them. You can also type up or write charts. Hope this helps
