My dad doesn't know the song I picked

My FH is writing the song I'll walk down the aisle to and he wants to keep it a secret from me. I vetoed the secret part really quick (I just don't want to be trying to focus on the song and not be in the moment, because I absolutely want to hear every word of that song). So our compromise is that I get to hear his version once he's done, but then the band from our ceremony will be tweaking it to make it their own (for their voices and stuff) and I won't get to hear their version until I walk down the aisle

That would be so sweet Nikki! My dad actually picked out our song so he knows it. FH is keeping his song a secret from his mom. I think it is super sweet.

My dad and I tried to come up with one together but then I found the perfect one and he decided he wanted it to be a surprise. No one knows but my sister. FH and I aren't intentionally keeping our song a secret but we haven't told anyone either. Same goes for any other songs really. I don't really tell anyone the details like that because those things don't really concern them.

I love that everyone is doing their own thing! I personally can't keep a secret from anyone so I doubt I would be able to keep any songs a secret for long. lol!

I tried really hard to keep my processional song a secret from FH. That lasted about 2 days because I was so excited about it. Makes me worried I won't be able to hide my dress from him!!
