I will be changing my last name. I love my fiance's last name and want my future little family to all share the same last name.

I'm keeping my last name. I just didn't like how his last name sounds with my first name, and I also don't want to go through the hassle of changing it.

I kept mine (if we have kids though, they will have my husband's last name). My last name is a part of my identity and it's more common in my line of work for women to keep their last names upon marrying.

I am changing it in all aspects except at work. I've been there for a long time, and it's a big company, so I'd rather not try to institute a new name at this point. If I ever leave and join another company, I would go by my married name there from the start.

I decided to keep my last name as is. My husband and I have really similar last names and they rhyme so it just kind of felt like something I didn’t want to bother changing or hyphenating. And it just sounded really weird hyphenating it. it’s like Pan-Tan aha it just was weird sounding

Kept it. I’m 40’s and have professional publications under my name. Neither one of us has/will have kids.

I'm having both. Sarah my name his name, no hyphen. It's really important to him that I take his name, but I have a son from a previous relationship that has my maiden name so I will not drop my last name. And then my future children will only have my fiance's last name.

I’m changing my name, but will remain going by my maiden name at work. My future husband didn’t go to law school!!

I'm changing my last name. I have my mom's maiden name and when she got married to my brother's dad, I was the only one in the immediate family with the name. Since it'll be the name our future kids will have, I'd rather us all have the same name instead of me being the odd man out again and possibly having to explain things lol.

I'm planning on hyphenating my last name. After losing my dad I decided I didn't want to completely change/lose my last name.

I’m changing my last name to his. My ex husband tried to pressure me into changing it but the more he tried, the more I fought against it. My ex was a huge control freak! My fiancé hasn’t don’t any of that & is the most easy going guy I know. It just feels very natural & so right to change it.

I love my maiden name (Thrasher) & have joked and said he should take my name instead. I absolutely plan to change it but will change my middle name to Thrasher. I can’t wait! (My wedding is 16 days away & I already emailed the IT department to see if they can get started on the name change. They said no, of course. Lol!)
    Best wishes to you!

I'm changing my name. Even though it's been my name for 40 years, I have no emotional attachment to it. Never had a great relationship with my biological father or his family. Even though my FH and I won't be having kids, I still want us to have the same last name.

I guess I am traditional so I have always wanted my husband's last name. I will probably make my maiden name a middle name.
