Let me start by saying invitations are priced at absurd prices. I am far from wealthy and trying to get them as cheap as possible, without compromising elegance, for my 150 person wedding. Etiquette says have a calligrapher address the envelopes. Really?! Ugh, I'm gonna be broke. 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ What are you...

Create your invites on Zazzle, Vistaprint or Shutterfly then wait for a 20-60% off sale to buy them.

A friend did calligraphy on our DW invites (only 15). For our reception, we printed our own labels. Not as great but looked much better than our handwriting! I think some places like Minted will print your envelopes but honestly while planning two events I was tired, way over budget and less concerned about invite envelopes. 😴

It is so easy to fall down the rabbit hole of invitations. And they will all end up in the trash.

We went with all-in-one invitations from Minted. They addressed the envelopes for free, so that looks more professional. We were super happy with the quality for the price.

Just get them printed at vista print and use your printer at home to address them. We put our engagement photos on our invitations, including our doggo and people went bonkers for them. I understand people put a lot of fuss into them now but I'm glad I didn't know that when I ordered them, because there was no guilt over saving a ton of money for a product that people still called me gushing about.
