Keeping flowers fresh overnight

I will be having roses and baby breathe/eucalyptus at the wedding reception. I will be setting up the night before. Is it okay to keep the flowers in the water overnight on the tables at room temperature? I don't really want to do more set up the morning of. The flowers only need to stay fresh for about 36 hours.

To make sure they’re fresh and bright, I would store them in a refrigerated space overnight.

Not sure about bouquets or centerpieces because they're bigger, but if you put some damp paper towel in a tupperware container, you can put your boutinieres in there (remember to close it so the moisture stays in. Also, please refrigerate it!). This wouls be great for travel!
