Kay's 6month inspection

Km42118, on April 2, 2017 at 8:52 PM Posted in Planning 0 6

Totally missed my 6month inspection. Ring was purchased 9/22 and it's 4/2 now. Supposed to have it inspected in March. Anyone take it in after it was due and still had their warranty?

Not sure I would take it there anyway. I've been seeing on the news about them switching diamonds for fakes while sending them out for repairs

I missed my deadline by a few days and it was fine, they didn't even mention that I was late. Just get in asap and you should be ok

@olivia thanks. Thought about it but it's Sunday and they are closed. Will call tomorrow

@sanders I've read and heard about that too. So hopefully they'll just tell me everything looks fine and won't have to take it in for any repairs. If they tell me anything needs repairs, I may take it to a diff/independent jeweler.

    Have you lost a stone?

If not, you're fine. You havent voided the entire warranty. I was told by a consultant that I need to make sure I'm within the month of my inspection. If I come in after that, and I'm missing a stone or anything like that, it won't be covered.. Otherwise they'll check it, clean it and you're good to go.
